Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy, tailored to address specific client concerns.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting sessions based on client responses and progress.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create unified, comprehensive treatment strategies.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards, legal regulations, and organizational protocols.

• Monitor client progress through ongoing evaluation, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed while staying updated on the latest advancements in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Star Mental Health Services, you will work primarily with a diverse client population, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families facing a variety of emotional and mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Your role will focus on fostering a safe and inclusive environment where clients feel empowered to discuss their concerns and work towards positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting.

• Knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing counseling practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
