Job Title: Research Associate I Duration: 8 Months Location: Waltham, MA; 02451 Work Schedule Mon-Fri 9-5pm HM Notes: Local candidates only Candidates with strong experience welcomed, Scientists with more than minimum years of required experience with bachelor's and master's degree welcomed. Please do not submit PhD. Must Have: Bachelor's degree 3+ years of experience, Master's degree 2 + years of experience Strong verbal communication skills, including presenting results in team/group meetings Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and a fast learner Strongly Preferred: Demonstrated adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) regulations on a daily basis, Strong foundation in molecular biology and microbiology techniques, including: PCR, Restriction digestion. Cloning, Gibson Assembly, Agarose gel electrophoresis, Bacterial transformation. Nice to Have: Familiarity with Benchling electronic lab notebook (preferred) Ability to independently design, execute, and interpret experiments Local candidates only Job Description: Must be able to clearly follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) on a daily basis to carry out the work that is listed below.
