Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally aware mental health assessments to craft personalized treatment plans that reflect patients’ unique backgrounds and experiences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness strategies tailored to individual patient needs.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to help clients address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support, employing effective de-escalation techniques during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health concerns, treatment methodologies, and community resources to empower them in their healing journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of patient progress and treatment in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in case reviews, team meetings, and ongoing training sessions to enhance cultural competence and therapeutic skills.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy, particularly related to diverse populations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Demonstrated understanding of various mental health disorders, culturally responsive treatment approaches, and clinical best practices.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy that reflects inclusivity and sensitivity to cultural factors.

• Strong crisis intervention capabilities, with the ability to maintain composure in pressure-filled situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective rapport-building with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software to enhance workflow and record-keeping.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
