Your Responsibilities Await

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and devising personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in cooperation with physicians or independently (subject to credentials)
• Instructing patients and their families on preventive care, health maintenance, and illness management
• Administering prescriptions and therapeutic interventions within practice guidelines

Your Education Counts

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Your Credentials Matter

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Louisiana
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
