ABOUT THE ROLE

Our federal government partner is seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments for an active government contract. This fully remote, 12-month contract role is ideal for a senior technical leader with deep expertise in ServiceNow architecture, workflow automation, integration frameworks, and platform governance. As the platform's technical authority, you will shape architecture decisions, lead solution design reviews, build integrations with AWS and other enterprise applications, and establish governance standards and long-term roadmaps. You will partner with Agile teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. Candidates should possess broad knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities, proven integration experience, and strong communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to align technical strategies to business objectives. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable ServiceNow platform architectures that support enterprise ITSM and business requirements
• Lead solution design reviews, provide architectural guidance, and ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and organizational standards
• Architect and implement integrations between ServiceNow, AWS, and other enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and Flow Designer
• Establish platform governance frameworks, technical roadmaps, and long-term architecture strategies aligned to business objectives
• Partner with Agile sprint teams to estimate and size development, configuration, and implementation efforts
• Troubleshoot complex platform, configuration, integration, and customization issues, driving them to resolution
• Communicate architectural decisions and technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders

WHAT YOU BRING

• Deep expertise in ServiceNow architecture, application design, workflow automation, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and platform governance
• Broad knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, and enterprise integration frameworks
• Proven experience designing and implementing integrations between ServiceNow, AWS, and other cloud or enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, ServiceNow development lifecycle management, and platform release processes
• Demonstrated ability to provide architectural guidance, conduct design reviews, and enforce best practice standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of translating complex technical concepts for varied audiences
• Experience establishing platform governance models and building technical roadmaps aligned with long-term business strategy
