Senior Recruiter (Temporary)

Location: Melville, NY
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Full-Time Onsite)
Pay Rate: $40-50/hour, depending on experience
Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter to join our team on a temporary basis in Melville, NY. This role is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of professional, administrative, operational, and corporate positions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent while partnering closely with hiring managers to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment from intake meetings through offer acceptance and onboarding.
  
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, job requirements, and workforce planning objectives.
  
• Source qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
  
• Screen resumes and conduct phone and video interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit.
  
• Coordinate candidate interviews and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams.
  
• Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract passive and active talent.
  
• Maintain accurate candidate records and applicant tracking system (ATS) data.
  
• Manage candidate pipelines and provide regular hiring updates to stakeholders.
  
• Conduct reference checks and support offer negotiation processes.
  
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  
• Stay informed on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and recruiting best practices.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
  
• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  
• Experience recruiting for professional, administrative, corporate, operations, or specialized positions.
  
• Strong sourcing skills utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and networking techniques.
  
• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
  
• Excellent communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skills.
  
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a staffing, agency, or corporate recruiting environment.
  
• Ability to quickly build relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders.
  
• Experience recruiting for high-volume and hard-to-fill positions.
