Payroll Supervisor (Bilingual Spanish/English)

Salary: Approximately $100,000 annually

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to lead and optimize our global payroll operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll processing across the U.S. and Latin America (LATAM), while driving process improvements and leading a high-performing payroll team.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Operations & Process Improvement

• Evaluate current global payroll schedules and SOPs to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements

• Reduce manual adjustments and off-cycle payroll through automation and streamlined workflows

• Partner cross-functionally to ensure payroll accuracy throughout the employee lifecycle

U.S. Payroll Oversight

• Manage end-to-end bi-weekly payroll processing, including detailed review of employee calculations

• Oversee tax compliance activities, including state registrations, audits, and reconciliations

• Reconcile payroll-related general ledger (GL) postings and balance sheet accounts

• Lead year-end payroll activities, including audits of taxes, benefits, and retirement contributions

LATAM Payroll Management

• Review and approve semi-monthly and monthly payrolls for Mexico, Argentina, and Colombia

• Ensure accuracy of final payments, including adjustments for time off, disability, and overtime

• Partner with global payroll providers to validate billing accuracy and system integrations

Benefits & Compliance

• Collaborate with HR to manage payroll-related benefits, including 401(k) contributions, health deductions, and local social programs

• Maintain strict compliance with U.S. and LATAM payroll regulations and deadlines

• Ensure the security and integrity of payroll and tax data

Leadership & Team Management

• Supervise and develop a global payroll team through coaching and performance management

• Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure timely, accurate payroll and reporting

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in ADP Workforce Now

• Proven experience managing U.S. bi-weekly payroll and LATAM payroll cycles

• Strong analytical skills, including manual calculations for severance, final pay, and tax adjustments

• In-depth knowledge of U.S. state tax requirements and LATAM compliance regulations

• Ability to collaborate effectively with HR Operations, Accounting, and external agencies

• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Pay Details: $45.00 per hour
