A dedicated LPN is needed to provide compassionate, one-on-one care for a student in a supportive educational environment. This is a full-time, onsite contract role, based in a vibrant community near Spanaway, WA, offering the chance to work closely with one student, ensuring their health and well-being during the school day.

Your commitment will involve working 6.5 hours per day, closely aligning your schedule with the student’s arrival and departure. Your skills and presence will help create a safe, nurturing environment where the student can thrive academically and personally.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Current LPN/LVN license in Washington State, or willingness to obtain before starting.
• Must be fingerprinted through OSPI, or prepared to complete this requirement.
• Experience in pediatric, school, or similar nursing setting preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, individualized nursing care to a designated student.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor health status, and perform medical tasks as prescribed.
• Act as a healthcare advocate and liaison for the student within the school environment.
• Document care activities and maintain confidential health records.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and communicate clearly with families and staff.
