Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients to determine their mental health status and therapeutic needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices tailored to address specific issues such as anxiety, depression, and substance abuse.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using culturally responsive approaches that honor each client’s unique experiences.

• Regularly monitor progress and modify therapy plans as needed, ensuring clients have the tools and coping mechanisms to achieve their goals.

• Provide referrals to collaborating healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and other specialists, when necessary to enhance the overall treatment plan.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with health regulations, and actively participate in case reviews and team meetings to discuss ongoing patient needs and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Freedom Trail Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse mix of clients, including individuals dealing with mental health disorders, addiction issues, trauma, and life transitions. Our client demographic includes a broad spectrum of ages, cultural backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses, providing you with an enriching practice environment and an opportunity to apply culturally competent therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of four years of related experience in mental health counseling or a similar role.
\n
• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and cultural competence in delivering therapeutic services.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with diverse clients and colleagues.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

• A commitment to ethical practice, professional boundaries, and confidentiality in all client interactions.

• Ability to thrive in a remote team environment and collaborate with other professionals across disciplines.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
