As the sole Special Education Teacher for this assignment, your specialized skills and commitment to individualized instruction will be valued and celebrated.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license required
• Demonstrated experience in special education, particularly with moderate to severe caseloads
• Deep understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, working well with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Compassion, adaptability, and a solutions-focused approach to supporting students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and support for students with moderate to severe needs within the classroom setting
• Develop and modify IEPs, track student progress, and ensure compliance with state guidelines
• Offer a nurturing and structured classroom environment conducive to learning and growth
• Coordinate with related service providers, families, and other staff to optimize student success
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development as needed
