Make an immediate impact by providing occupational therapy services to students in Carbon and Lehigh Counties. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about supporting children with diverse needs in a school setting. Work up to 35 hours weekly during the academic year, following the local school calendar. Your assignment location and daily schedule will be based on current regional needs and may vary throughout your contract.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Pennsylvania
- Educational Specialist I or II Certificate (Required, no exceptions)
- Experience supporting students in schools, pediatrics, and/or special education
- Willingness to work in either Carbon or Lehigh County as needed
- Commitment to a school-day schedule, up to 35 hours per week
- Confidence in providing services to students with a range of disabilities
- Availability for an in-person interview in the area
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group OT interventions aligned with each student’s IEP
- Collaborate with teachers, school teams, and families to support student growth and participation
- Maintain thorough documentation and meet all compliance requirements
- Adapt therapeutic strategies to meet the unique needs of each school environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
