Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work setting, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home while still being a part of a vibrant team culture. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms, developing insights into each individual's unique challenges.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual goals, preferences, and life circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to implement structured interventions that foster client progress.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, providing insights into treatment options and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journeys.

• Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that interventions remain effective and relevant to evolving needs.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices related to mood disorders to continually improve therapeutic approaches and outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in line with legal requirements and ethical standards, ensuring compliance in all documentation.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in the field.

• Advocate for mental health awareness and support clients in overcoming stigma while addressing their needs in a compassionate manner.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals suffering from various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Additionally, your client base may include vulnerable populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your role will be critical in offering these individuals the support and therapy they need to navigate their challenges and achieve greater mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
