Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in Carbon and Lehigh Counties as a school-based Occupational Therapist for the 2026/2027 school year. With a flexible start and an end date projected for June 11, 2027, this full-time role (35 hours weekly) offers the chance to make a substantial impact in educational settings. You'll support students with a variety of disabilities and learning needs, collaborating closely with educators and families across assigned school sites.

Desired Qualifications:

• Hold an active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license (required)
• Possess an Educational Specialist I or II Certificate (required)
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) number
• Experience working in schools, pediatric settings, or with special education populations preferred
• Ability and willingness to work in either Carbon or Lehigh County, based on district assignment
• Comfortable supporting a school-day schedule, up to 35 hours per week
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability
• Must attend an in-person interview

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students per IEP/504/RTI plans
• Assess students’ needs and create individualized intervention plans
• Document progress and maintain meticulous records per state and district guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Actively participate in student support meetings and contribute to educational teams
• Adhere to all location-specific policies and timelines
