Assistant Executive Director

Assistant Executive DirectorWe are actively seeking to add an Assistant Executive Director (AED) to our team. As the Assistant Executive Director, you will work with the Executive Director (ED) in managing day-to-day functions. The AED will also act as a liaison between the facility and the outside community. You will report directly to the Executive Director and must be familiar with all their duties and be able to fill in, in the event the Executive Director is unable to perform a duty or requirement.Key ResponsibilitiesCommunication And PlanningProvide information about the residence & services when Executive Director is not available.Maintain all marketing materials & distribute to prospective residents, family members, community leaders, and referral sources.Meet and greet all residents and guests and assist them with any requests or suggestions they may have.Under the direction of the Executive Director, responsible for the supervision and quality control for all aspects of operations including marketing, staffing, resident services, budgeting, safety, and building maintenance.Budgeting and Record KeepingMaintain target census level by implementing marketing plan (weekly referral source visits, weekly marketing tours, monthly community relations' activities, and speaking engagements).Develop and maintain programs to promote positive image and build relationships to ensure favorable community relations.Interpret and promote services to the public and the media.Plan and carry out special duties or projects as assigned.What You'll BringExperience & EducationBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceProfessional experience in senior resident services, social work, management, or health care.Excellent interpersonal skills, and exceptional organizational skillsMust be able to communicate effectively (written and oral form) in a care setting with residents, families, staff, representatives of community and state agenciesLocation InformationThe Haven & The Laurels in the Village at Carolina Place is a beautiful community in Pineville, NC, with more than 150 units offering assisted living and Alzheimer's care.Job TypeFull-TimeJob CategoryAdministrativeWork ShiftDaytimeAuto req ID BR
