You will provide in-person services throughout several schools, supporting students in both general and specialized education programs. The role covers the full academic year with both full-time and part-time arrangements considered. Your workdays will fit within regular school hours, with some variation in daily start and end times.

Key Qualifications:

• MPT or DPT degree required
• Active Illinois Physical Therapy License
• Experience in pediatric or school settings strongly preferred
• Capacity to travel between school locations as needed
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy to a caseload of 35-45 students in both self-contained and general education environments
• Complete comprehensive evaluations and design individualized therapy plans
• Implement treatments, including the use of mobility and positioning equipment
• Consult and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including educators, paraprofessionals, and nurses
• Maintain thorough daily session notes, progress reports, and goal tracking
• Adapt approach based on students’ needs across elementary through transition programs
