Responsibilities for this special assignment begin at the end of August 2026 and continue through early June 2027. Your expertise will shape classroom experiences, support personal development, and cultivate a positive, engaging atmosphere for your caseload. Working weekdays, you’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families to ensure academic and social success.

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher License—must be Tier 3 or Tier 4; applicants will not be considered without current licensure.
• Prior experience in special education, preferably in setting III/centerbase environments.
• Demonstrated skill in creating and implementing differentiated instruction and behavior management plans.
• Strong communicative abilities for effective collaboration with colleagues and families.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students in accordance with IEP requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Collaborate with other school professionals and participate in regular team meetings.
• Monitor and document progress, maintaining accurate records for each student.
• Communicate consistently with parents and caregivers regarding student growth and challenges.
