Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
- Previous experience in special education or inclusive classroom environments
- Strong skills in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent collaboration with general education staff, related service providers, and families
- Passion for fostering academic and social growth among students with diverse learning needs
- Ability to cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students’ individual education plans within a center-based setting
- Manage a caseload focused on the LAUNCH program, ensuring clear documentation and compliance
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning strategies and interventions
- Communicate regularly with families and guardians regarding student progress and goals
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to promote student engagement and safety
- Participate in ongoing professional development offered by the district
