Lead Patient Service Representative-Repro Medicine - 139550

Description The Patient Service Representative Lead works under the Clinic Manager’s supervision, overseeing and providing leadership and training for all front‑end duties such as reception, call center operations, referral and authorization processes, and other advanced administrative tasks including template creation, office purchases, and coaching. The Lead has oversight over junior peers and serves as a resource for primary care, OBGYN, and Express clinic departments. With guidance from the Clinic Manager, the Lead initiates and participates in improvement efforts that directly impact the practice and performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of four (4) years of related experience and extensive knowledge of practices, including one (1) year of supervisory experience in a large complex healthcare setting. Knowledge of computer programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, Graphs, Word, etc. Extensive knowledge of practices in an ambulatory setting. Administrative lead experience. Front office administration experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience interpreting patient billing inquiries and collecting past‑due balances. Extensive knowledge of all types of insurance and eligibility, and ability to navigate insurance plan websites. Experience as a liaison or advocate for patients facing customer service issues. Experience coordinating staffing schedules. Lean training or process improvement training. Exposure to advanced patient access and knowledge of building templates. Special Conditions Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs. Able to flex work hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays if required for business needs.Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre‑employment physical. Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $66,169 - $82,309 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $31.69 - $39.42 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
