Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Radiance Physical Therapy, you will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, alongside a team of healthcare professionals that includes physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and rehabilitation tools, fostering an atmosphere that encourages professional development and a commitment to improving patient care. Your typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, providing a consistent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate each patient's physical condition and develop tailored treatment plans focused on their individual needs and goals.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions to improve patient outcomes, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Maintain a patient load of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring comprehensive and personalized attention during each session.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to minimize reliance on medications and surgical interventions, when possible, by providing effective non-invasive alternatives.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, documenting outcomes and communicating effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey by fostering a supportive environment that enhances their physical strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Develop fitness and wellness programs that support a holistic approach to patient health and well-being.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy to continuously improve care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. You will work closely with individuals seeking to restore their function and enhance their overall quality of life. Patients come to Radiance Physical Therapy with diverse backgrounds and needs, requiring a tailored approach to their rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a demonstrated ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and enhance patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings, providing a strong foundation for treating diverse musculoskeletal conditions.
• A background in advanced rehabilitation techniques and modalities that can be applied in patient care.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and empower patients throughout their treatment.

Compensation and Benefits
