Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ psychosocial needs, focusing on emotional, mental, and social factors impacting their academic performance.

• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with students and their families to address specific goals, preferences, and challenges.

• Provide counseling and emotional support, assisting students in navigating personal and academic transitions, stress, and other life challenges.

• Advocate for students’ rights and access to appropriate community resources, ensuring their needs are met in and outside of school.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, psychologists, and healthcare professionals, to coordinate effective care strategies.

• Engage in regular check-ins with students to monitor their progress, assess their well-being, and respond proactively to any concerns or changes.

• Facilitate communication among family members involved in the student’s support system to resolve conflicts and build consensus on care approaches.

• Educate students and families about available community resources, social support programs, and services that foster their development and well-being.

• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, care plans, progress reports, and other pertinent client interactions in compliance with ethical standards.

• Stay abreast of current developments in social work practices and educational policies, ensuring adherence to professional ethical guidelines.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
