HR Generalist

Location: Waterford, WI
Position Type: Full-Time Direct Hire
Salary: $50,000–$70,000 per year

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team in Waterford, WI. This hands-on role will support all aspects of Human Resources, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, employee relations, compliance, training, and employee engagement.

The ideal candidate will have previous HR experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently while partnering with leadership and employees throughout the organization.

• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and hiring for open positions.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and open enrollment activities.
• Process payroll and ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
• Serve as a resource for employees regarding benefits, policies, leave requests, and HR-related inquiries.
• Partner with managers and supervisors on employee relations matters, disciplinary actions, performance concerns, and terminations.
• Coordinate temporary staffing needs and maintain relationships with staffing agencies.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Assist with workers' compensation administration and leave management, including FMLA and medical leaves.
• Coordinate employee training programs, including safety, harassment prevention, compliance, and onboarding training.
• Support annual performance review processes.
• Communicate policy updates and company initiatives to employees.
• Coordinate employee appreciation events, recognition programs, holiday celebrations, and other engagement activities.
• Assist with special projects and additional HR initiatives as needed.

• 3–5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in an HR Generalist role.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Experience with HRIS systems required; Paycom experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of employee benefits, payroll, leave administration, and employee relations.
• Understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
