This part-time contract opportunity is ideal for a talented Occupational Therapist passionate about supporting the growth and success of elementary-aged students. Located near Sunnyvale, CA, you’ll collaborate closely with school staff and families, empowering students from transitional kindergarten through 5th grade – all at one school site.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Active state Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior experience in a school setting or working with children preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric OT principles, especially for early elementary
• Excellent communication skills, collaborative mindset, and organizational abilities
• Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to a small caseload of 5-6 students
• Assess students’ functional abilities, recommend strategies, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Work with Tk through 5th graders at a single school site, tailoring support for each child’s needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student participation in academic and daily activities
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports as required by school policies
• Offer guidance on adaptive techniques and accommodations within the classroom
