Registered Nurse - PACU

$1787.04/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized nursing care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for adult and pediatric patients recovering from surgery and anesthesia. Ensure patient safety, stability, and comfort through effective monitoring and intervention. Responsibilities: Assess patient vitals and recovery status continuously to identify any complications. Administer medications, including drip titrations and ventilator management, as prescribed. Operate and monitor medical equipment such as ventilators and monitors, ensuring proper function. Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately within the Meditech EMR system. Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Respond promptly to patient changes or emergencies, providing critical interventions as required. Qualifications: Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years experience in PACU or ICU settings. Demonstrated proficiency with ventilator management and drip titration. Strong neuro background preferred. Certification in ACLS and PALS is required. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and reliability.
