The Registered Nurse II supervises the day-to-day wellness clinic as well as the nursing staff. Works with the Health and Wellness Manager to ensure proper staffing of the wellness clinic. Share on-call responsibilities with the Health & Wellness Manager. The Registered Nurse II assists in the medical care and treatment of students. Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, dresses wounds and assist with student physicals. Administers specified medication and annotates time and amount on patient’s chart. Assembles, sterilizes and uses various medical equipment and supplies Maintains charts for trainees seen by medical personnel. Qualifications State Registered Nurse’s License and one year’s experience as a practicing Registered Nurse. Active, unrestricted license to practice in the state of Georgia. Prefer two or more years of experience. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred. Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
