Capital Programs Project Manager

About the Role The Capital Programs Project Manager provides facilities project management services for the division and institutional initiatives and programs. They manage capital improvement projects ranging from $10k to $10M, including office improvements, hardscape, space planning, and utility infrastructure. Responsibilities also include managing proposals, defining project requirements, working closely with all divisions, vendors, donors, and board members, and reporting directly to the Senior Facilities Project Manager. Responsibilities Provide project management services for capital improvement projects ($10k–$10M) Manage project proposals, budgets, schedules, and resources. Define project requirements by collaborating with institutional divisions. Coordinate with vendors, donors, board members, and internal stakeholders. Report progress and manage expectations to the Senior Facilities Project Manager. Qualifications Strong written and oral communication skills. Positive problem‑solving outlook. Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum five years leading complex construction projects, including at least one ≥$5M. Experience leading projects of various sizes with multiple user groups. Strong organization and project planning skills, managing within time and budget constraints. Deep understanding of project‑related risks and the ability to handle confidential communications. Self‑starter with complex problem‑solving capability and initiative. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), MS Project or similar scheduling software, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam. Working Conditions The role requires an office setting but also requires operation in all interior and exterior environments across the campus. Compensation & Benefits Annual pay range: $120,000–$130,000, commensurate with experience. Medical, dental, vision, 403(b) retirement plan with matching.
