Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Staff Accountant.Responsibilities:

• Perform general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, amortizations, and reconciliations
• Support and maintain accounting processes across: Accounts Payable; Accounts Receivable; Inventory accounting
• Prepare and post accruals and maintain related schedules
• Manage and reconcile a variety of accounts, including accrual schedules and subledgers, ensuring accurate reconciliation to the general ledger
• Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations
• Support fixed asset accounting and related schedules
• Assist with month-end close activities and ongoing financial reporting needs

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of general ledger accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems
• Comfortable working in a highly manual, fast-paced environment
• Exposure to NetSuite ERP
• Familiarity with additional languages (to support international operations)
• Experience in Accounts Receivable and booking AR entries (ideal for candidates looking to pivot into GL)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
