Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist – US will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class candidate experience in hiring talent across Contract Logistics and Freight Forwarding Business Units. This role is responsible for high-volume launch hiring at warehouse or local site locations as well as end to end recruitment for corporate function across US business units.

How You Will Contribute

• Lead and execute high-volume, end-to-end recruitment within contract logistics, warehousing, supply chain, or similar operational environments, delivering against aggressive hiring targets while maintaining a strong focus on candidate quality.
• Partner closely with Hiring Managers and HR leaders to understand operational workforce requirements and develop recruitment strategies that align with business needs, particularly during periods of rapid growth, new-site launches, operational ramp-ups, and large-scale hiring initiatives.
• Develop position-specific recruitment plans and talent pipelines capable of supporting both high-volume operational hiring and niche or specialized skill sets.
• Serve as a strategic recruitment partner to Hiring Managers and HR, translating workforce plans into actionable recruiting strategies and providing guidance on talent availability, market conditions, hiring timelines, and sourcing approaches.
• Proactively source active and passive candidates using the company's sourcing strategy, Applicant Tracking System, job boards, social platforms, community partnerships, and other relevant sourcing channels. Screen, interview, assess, and present qualified candidates.
• Build sustainable candidate pipelines and sourcing channels that enable the organization to meet demanding hiring volumes without compromising candidate quality or fit.
• Identify and develop appropriate recruitment channels for internships, agency, operational, professional, and specialized openings, including relationships with colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, community organizations, and job fairs.
• Create compelling and accurate job descriptions and recruitment messaging that effectively communicate opportunities and attract high-quality candidates.
• Manage the candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle, including communication, interviews, feedback, offers, and pre-hire activities, in close partnership with Hiring Managers and HR.
• Maintain accurate and timely information within the Applicant Tracking System, including candidate workflow, requisition data, candidate communications, and required fields to support effective reporting and recruitment analytics.
• Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, staffing partners, and sourcing suppliers, including negotiating terms and conditions and monitoring supplier performance.
• Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to increase speed, scalability, quality of hire, and candidate experience, while effectively managing Hiring Manager expectations.
• Track recruitment progress and use hiring data and market insights to identify risks, adjust sourcing strategies, and ensure hiring commitments are achieved.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Demonstrated recruitment experience within contract logistics, warehousing, supply chain, distribution, fulfillment, or a comparable operational environment.
• Experience supporting high-growth operations, new-site launches, start-ups/greenfield operations, significant workforce ramp-ups, or similarly demanding hiring environments is strongly preferred.
• Proven success managing high-volume recruitment while maintaining high standards for candidate quality and the ability to identify and secure candidates for niche or difficult-to-fill skill sets.
• Strong experience managing the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from workforce planning and sourcing strategy through screening, selection, offer, and hire.
• Demonstrated ability to build and execute scalable sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for both high-volume and specialized recruitment needs.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent requisitions, aggressive hiring timelines, and multiple stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
• Strong consultative skills with the ability to advise Hiring Managers and HR partners on recruitment strategy, labor-market conditions, talent availability, hiring timelines, and candidate quality.
• Strong delivery orientation with the ability to take ownership and accountability for recruitment campaigns and hiring outcomes.
• Excellent candidate and internal customer service skills, with strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems and contemporary sourcing and recruitment tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $76,500

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

About the Role

How you will contribute

• Support and consult with Hiring Managers and HR managers on their operational recruitment demand, that align with overall business needs, and advise on the best hiring strategy. Develop position specific recruitment plans and identify candidate pools.
• Translate strategy towards operational actions and be the sparring partner during the operational recruitment process.
• Create attractive and exciting job descriptions to engage candidates to join the company.
• Pro-actively source candidates (active and passive) by using our company Sourcing Strategy and Applicant Tracking System in cooperation with the latest sourcing channels on the market. Screen, introduce and interview candidates.
• Identify and develop appropriate channels to recruit candidates for internships and agency openings to include active and passive sourcing, building relationships within the community (i.e., colleges, employment agencies, and recruiters), and participating in job fairs.
• Maintain accurate information in the Applicant Tracking system to include moving candidates through the recruitment workflow, responding to candidate inquiries, and completing all required requisition fields to allow for accurate and timely reporting of processes.
• Manage relations with external recruitment agencies and sourcing suppliers (job boards) and negotiate terms and conditions.
• Manage the feedback and offer process to candidates in continuous cooperation with the hiring manager.
• Optimize the internal and external recruitment processes while providing the best candidate experience for all candidates and managing hiring manager expectations on timelines and market information.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
• Experience leading the end-to-end recruitment cycle.
• Proven track record of recruitment in a high volume, fast paced corporate environment. Ability to manage multiple assignments and stakeholders across all levels simultaneously.
• Experience working in a fast-paced multi-functional environment providing first class internal customer service.
• Customer service skills, high energy, and detail orientation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong delivery focus with ability to take full responsibility for campaign recruitment.
