Travel Consultant (Japan Specialist)

The RoleAs a Travel Consultant, you will use your extensive understanding of Japan to create unforgettable cultural adventures for our clients. Exceptional time management, confidence, communication, and organisation are a must for efficiently prioritising tasks and providing top-notch service for both new clients and ongoing bookings. High performance will be rewarded with sales and customer service-based commission, along with regular familiarisation trips to our destination countries to enhance your knowledge.What You Will Be DoingConsult with customers to identify their individual holiday requirements.Create high-quality tailor-made itineraries based on customer requirements.Work to achieve individual and team sales targets.Coordinate all aspects of the customer booking to ensure successful delivery of trip.What We Are Looking For From YouPrevious customer service and/or sales experience.Experience of living and/or working in Japan, coupled with a passion for the country as a travel destination.Self-motivated with the determination to achieve individual and team sales targets.Highly organised and productive; you must be able to get a lot done under pressure to a high degree of accuracy.Excellent communication skills.What You Get In ReturnUncapped commission with expected On Target Earnings (OTE) of $6,000 per year.Familiarisation trips to our destination countries.20 days annual leave plus 13 paid public holidays.Day off on your birthday.Volunteering leave.Employee Assistance Program.Designated learning and development time.Employer retirement contributions.We recognise that job adverts are often a wish list, and no candidate can have equal experience in every required/desired skill.
