Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our compassionate imaging team. Description of Responsibilities

• Complete diverse ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly communicating each step of the procedure with empathy
• Partner with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of top-notch diagnostic imaging
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Accurately document all procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records via the electronic medical records system
• Continuously update your knowledge of the latest ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Demonstrated technical proficiency in sonographic imaging procedures and patient positioning techniques
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
