Principal Recruiter

Role Description

The Principal Recruiter is a true strategic business partner to our hiring teams, with the ability to utilize recruitment expertise to effectively partner with managers across assigned departments in proactively sourcing, attracting and hiring the best qualified talent. This role will have specific focus areas, so the Recruiter will need to have solid experience in corporate hiring (such as Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, Legal, etc.) with healthcare tech experience a big plus.

• Act as a partner, consultant, and advisor to management by developing and driving strategies to recruit talent in a highly competitive market.
• Recruitment efforts include:
  • Sourcing
  • Screening
  • Interviewing
  • Developing a talent pipeline to hire talent within the business.
• Leverage all aspects of sourcing and candidate development including:
  • Job posting
  • Job board mining
  • Internet sourcing
  • Social networking
  • Employee referrals
  • Networking events
• Ensure an impressive candidate experience through:
  • Thorough communication
  • Timely feedback
  • Interviewer preparedness
  • Effective interview format
• Consult with candidates on:
  • Navigating the interview process
  • Negotiating pay and position expectations
  • Communicating regularly with hiring teams to monitor and maintain satisfaction
• Track metrics and use data for strategic analysis of recruiting campaigns.
• May focus on specific business areas such as:
  • Technology
  • Healthcare
  • Executive-level
  • Early career/campus recruiting
• Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.
• Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent.
• 8+ years relevant recruiting experience, with specific experience recruiting for all levels of corporate roles and preferably in healthcare IT.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with a demonstrable knowledge of recruiting tools and methodology.
• Strong ability to effectively manage tasks, using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation and government law.
• Strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ATS and HRIS software, preferably with iCims.
• Demonstrated experience and ability to act as a partner and advisor to hiring teams in sourcing strategies, job market conditions, interviewing and selection processes, and candidate negotiations.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines within time restraints.
• Ability to multi-task in a very high volume, dynamic, high exposure position and handle stress in pressure situations.
• Excellent verbal, written, follow-up and interpersonal communication skills with strong grammar and writing skills.
• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitor own work to ensure quality.
• This is a fully remote position that can be done from anywhere in the US. Candidates must have an appropriate home office set up free from distraction with appropriate internet access and speed -- laptop and monitors will be provided.

Requirements

• Base compensation ranges from $94,000.00 to $124,000.00. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
