Warranty Administrator and Service Customer Care Coordinator Santa Barbara Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Position Summary

Santa Barbara CDJR is seeking an organized, customer focused team member to administer warranty claims, coordinate service appointments and customer communications, and help answer dealership calls. This role also provides light front desk coverage. The successful candidate can shift between detailed accounting and warranty work and helping customers in a busy dealership. Key Responsibilities Warranty Support

Some accounting experience is required, including familiarity with reconciling payments or receivables and researching discrepancies. Review warranty repair orders and supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with manufacturer requirements. Work with service advisors, technicians, and parts staff to obtain missing information and resolve claim discrepancies. Prepare, submit, and track manufacturer warranty claims according to dealership procedures and submission deadlines. Follow up on rejected, unpaid, or outstanding claims and maintain organized, audit ready warranty records. Use basic accounting skills to track warranty receivables, reconcile claim payments, and research payment differences with the accounting team. Service BDC and Customer Communication

Answer service inquiries by phone, email, and other dealership communication channels. Schedule, confirm, and follow up on service appointments. Contact customers regarding appointment requests, missed appointments, and service follow up needs. Record customer interactions accurately and direct technical questions to the appropriate service team member. Phones and Front Desk

Answer incoming dealership calls promptly and route callers to the correct department or person. Welcome customers and visitors when providing front desk coverage. Take accurate messages and assist with light receptionist and administrative duties as needed. Qualifications

Previous dealership, service department, warranty, BDC, or customer service experience preferred. Strong phone skills, a professional and welcoming manner, and excellent attention to detail. Ability to manage competing priorities and learn dealership systems, manufacturer portals, and scheduling tools. Dependable follow through and ability to collaborate with service, parts, sales, and accounting teams.
