Digital Product Owner - Mobile Applications

Role Description

We are currently seeking a Digital Product Owner to lead the strategy, development, and optimization of our digital properties—including residential and business mobile applications. This role reports to the Digital Strategy Manager and works cross-functionally with Product Development, Sales, Marketing, Retention, Analytics, UX/UI, Web Development, CX and QA.

The Digital Product Owner drives the mobile experiences to increase revenue and improve retention. In this role, you will be focused on defining, prioritizing, and delivering features of work that reduce friction and support a full-funnel user journey. The right candidate will be passionate about managing a robust backlog by balancing customer value, retention, revenue generation, and cost effectiveness. You will own the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and ongoing optimization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.

What you will do to contribute to the company's success:

• Manage an agile backlog by balancing feedback from stakeholders and prioritizing projects based on business needs.
• Identify and remediate UX/UI bottlenecks that impede usability, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Project manage across departments and act as primary contact with developers, facilitating dialogue with key stakeholders to ensure successful and timely project launches.
• Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders and customers. Champion features that bring the most value to our customers in support of our company's retention goals.
• Utilize product/project management software to track progress and deliverables.
• Analyze product performance and user feedback to inform improvements.
• Ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
• Present product updates and recommendations to senior management.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in digital product management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product Ownership or Product Management in an Agile software development environment, preferably within the telecommunications, mobile or fiber to the home industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
• Proven hands-on experience in software product management/ownership.
• Experience with B2B/B2C mobile applications and optimization.
• Strong understanding of mobile application frameworks.
• Experience with APIs, payment processing, and developing customer-focused self-service applications.
• Experience with product/project management software (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• Experience in cable/broadband industry (nice to have, not required).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional fast-paced, dynamic environment.
