Real Estate Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced *Real Estate Paralegal* to join our Connecticut real estate law practice. The ideal candidate will have *3–5 years of residential real estate experience*, preferably with experience using *Qualia closing software*, and will be comfortable handling *purchases, sales, and refinances* from start to finish.

This is a client-facing position, and communication is a major part of the role. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and is comfortable speaking with clients, attorneys, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties throughout the transaction.

The successful candidate should be highly organized and comfortable managing approximately *40–50 active closing files at any given time* while maintaining excellent communication, attention to detail, and responsiveness.

*Responsibilities may include:*

* Managing residential purchase, sale, and refinance files from opening through closing
* Maintaining approximately *40–50 active closing files at a time*
* Communicating regularly with clients regarding the status of their transactions
* Coordinating with attorneys, lenders, real estate agents, title companies, municipalities, and other parties
* Preparing and reviewing closing-related documents
* Ordering and reviewing title-related documents, payoffs, municipal information, and other necessary items
* Monitoring deadlines and ensuring files continue moving efficiently toward closing
* Maintaining organized and accurate files within the firm's closing software
* Assisting attorneys throughout the closing process
* Providing clients with a professional, friendly, responsive, and high-quality experience

*Qualifications:*

* *3–5 years of residential real estate paralegal experience*
* Experience handling residential *purchases, sales, and refinances*
* *Qualia closing software experience preferred*
* Ability to effectively manage *40–50 closing files simultaneously*
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organizational and time-management skills
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
* Strong character, positive attitude, and willingness to take ownership of their work
* Comfortable speaking directly with clients and providing exceptional customer service

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
