Staff Accountant

The Role We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our finance team and support the day-to-day accounting work that keeps our business moving forward. This role requires a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to work closely with teams across the company. Responsibilities Support core accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable Process and maintain accurate financial records and documentation Assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations Collaborate with teams on budgeting, monthly expenses, and financial tracking Research and resolve discrepancies and questions related to transactions or account balances Follow established processes while also helping improve how we work The Ideal Candidate Highly analytical, with a talent for identifying errors and ensuring accurate financial records Strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail Comfortable creating and following processes to ensure predictable and reliable outcomes Excellent communicator who enjoys supporting others inside and outside the department Patient, approachable, and a natural problem solver Efficient and high-achieving, able to maintain accuracy under deadlines Motivated to grow professionally and take on new responsibilities Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred Experience in the livestock industry preferred but not required Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and 10-key by touch Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles #J-18808-Ljbffr Balance4ward
