HR GeneralistHowmet Aerospace is currently looking for an HR Generalist to join our Casting Facility located in Dover, New Jersey.Anticipated Pay Range: $80k-$100k per year. The Human Resources Generalist manages and supports a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management, ensuring smooth HR operations across the organization.ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIESExpected to assist in the implementation of Howmet Aerospace's value and policy statement and its accompanying principles; Comply with all departments, facility, Corporate and Regulatory EH&S regulations; Wear all required personal protective equipment; Report all job-related illnesses and injuries. (Per employee handbook); Report all Safety, Health & Environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner; Attend all EH&S training.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESRecruitment and Onboarding: Drafting job descriptions, posting openings, conducting interviews, and facilitating new employee onboarding. Manages the HRIS System including processing onboarding for new hires, promotions, terminations. Employee Relations – Addressing employee concerns, mediating conflicts, supporting managers with performance improvement plans, and maintaining a positive workplace culture. Prepares and extends offer letters for all non-agency hires. Maintains list of sign on bonuses and payment date. Manage and participate in job/career fairs including college recruitment efforts. Assists employees applying for all internal job postings. Support all other HR initiatives as needed. Perform other assignments as required.Apprentice ProgramExternal – Lead external apprentice program & Interns. Internal – Develop internal apprentice program focused on (Machinists, Mechanics/Electricians, Automation Techs and Engineering Techs)JOB SPECIFICATIONSAbility to Adapt to Changes in the Workplace; The HR Generalist role is dynamic, often requiring simultaneous attention to recruitment, compliance, and employee concerns.
