Our organization, a 25-bed critical access hospital, is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Urology Nurse Practitioner to become part of our skilled and cooperative team.

The selected candidate will play a vital role in enhancing our Urology services within the area. This position involves close collaboration with the Urology team from a nearby hospital, whose physicians will provide rotating on-site coverage at our facility. The Nurse Practitioner will serve as a consistent, full-time presence, ensuring that local patients have reliable access to care.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the growth of Urology services in the region.
• Work alongside the Urology team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure continuity of care for local patients.

Qualifications & ExperienceEducation and Training

• Graduation from an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
• Prior experience as a Nurse Practitioner is essential.
• Preferred experience with incision and drainage (I&D) procedures, catheter placement, and post-operative wound care.

Licenses and Certifications

• Must be eligible for an APRN license in the State of Maine.
• DEA certification is required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.
