Human Resources Business Partner

Job Summary & Responsibilities Associa’s Human Resources team is seeking a strategic and collaborative Human Resources Business Partner to join our growing organization. This position reports directly to the Corporate Regional HR Director and supports more than 500 employees across three corporate branch locations in the Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia (DMW) region. The Human Resources Business Partner (Manager) serves as a trusted advisor to branch leadership, aligning people strategies with business objectives to drive performance and engagement. This role provides direct supervision to one HR Generalist and delivers consultative guidance in employee relations, performance management, organizational development, workforce planning, and compliance. This position operates in a primarily onsite, collaborative, and team-oriented environment. The role requires some travel to the DMW branch locations. Key Responsibilities Serve as HR Business Partner for branch leadership Align HR strategies with operational and financial objectives. Partner with Corporate HR Director to support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational change initiatives. Coach leaders on employee engagement, retention, and performance optimization. Directly supervise and develop Human Resources Generalist. Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters and escalate as appropriate. Partner with leaders on performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations. Support conflict resolution and promote fair, consistent decision-making. Ensure documentation and practices align with company policy and employment law. Support onboarding effectiveness, recruiting, and retention initiatives. Support change management and organizational transitions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Guide leaders on policy interpretation and consistent application. Promote company values and a positive workplace culture. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 5+ years of progressive HR experience Stong leadership and development accumen HR Business Partner experience supporting operational leaders. Strong knowledge of employee relations and employment law. Experience supporting multi-site or regional operations preferred SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred Experience in property management, hospitality, retail, or service-based industries preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
