Automotive Accounting Clerk

Position Summary Dealership Accounting Clerk Associate. Dealership experience required. Wage depends on experience. Key Responsibilities Correcting, processing, and reconciling a wide variety of accounting documents such as invoices, departmental billings, employee reimbursements, cash receipts, vendor statements, and journal vouchers. Reviewing and coding financial information; preparing and processing documents to disburse funds, make deposits, and produce reports. Compiling and reviewing information for accuracy, and maintaining records. Sorting documents, verifying accuracy of documents and mathematics, and making necessary adjustments. Entering numbers into a spreadsheet or accounting system; answering inquiries. Performing clerical tasks: sorting mail, typing, answering phones, etc. Entering vendor invoices in the accounting system. Preparing and mailing accounts payable checks; reconciling vendor statements. Tracking and communicating regarding employee accounts receivable; preparing and mailing client statements. Recording credit card charges and monthly statement reconciliations. Recording deposits in the accounting system. Other accounting duties as assigned. Preparing protocols/processes for inventory, purchasing, purchase order processing, inventory receipt, and invoice reconciliation. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. One year of related experience required. Dealership experience required. Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S. Must have a valid driver's license and professional appearance.
