Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to develop IEP goals and deliver therapy within a school environment
• Flexibility and adaptability as student needs evolve

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assess students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and functional classroom skills
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to promote student participation and engagement
• Document services, progress, and evaluations in accordance with district and legal standards
• Assist in developing strategies and interventions that foster learning and independence
