Laredo Physician Group is recruiting a gastroenterologist to provide services to our growing south Texas community. This is an employed opportunity offering a competitive compensation and benefits package. You would have the opportunity to start a practice busy from day 1. Spanish skills a plus but not required. Doctor's Hospital of Laredo is a 180-bed facility, one of five hospitals in Laredo. With over 160 medical staff members, the hospital is a Level III Trauma Center, and averages over 18,000 emergency department visits each year. Hospital services include Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Women's Health and Cardiology (designated Chest Pain Center). Laredo is a city of over 230,000 people located on the south Texas border, about 150 miles southwest of San Antonio.
