Make a positive impact on students’ lives as a dedicated School Psychologist, working with Pre-K through 8th-grade students in an on-site, contract role. This position is ideal for compassionate, results-oriented professionals eager to support diverse learners in a dynamic school environment. Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Department of Health School Psychologist License (FL DOH)
- School-based experience preferred, particularly with elementary and middle grades
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Timely completion of district-required fingerprinting and badging processes (can utilize AHCA Clearinghouse if previously printed in Florida)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments for referred students in Pre-K through 8th grade
- Deliver direct and consultative services addressing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of IEPs and support plans
- Facilitate crisis intervention and prevention strategies as needed
- Provide guidance and resources to school staff and families to promote student success
- Work seamlessly across assigned campuses (exact locations to be determined)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school guidelines
