Position Summary Rutgers School of Health Professions (SHP) is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant to work in the Health Informatics Department. Key Responsibilities Assist the faculty member in the conduct of the faculty member's multiple research studies. Provide research activities support such as participants recruitment (contact participants), screening, and enrollment in accordance with federal, state and institutional guidelines. Assist in protocol development, data collection, record keeping, statistical analysis, data coding, presentation and manuscript preparation. Attend research study meetings in person or via video chat. Assist with recruiting participants from local fairs and gatherings (non-school settings). Be available for some evenings and weekends for collecting data from participants. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with protocol initiation and development, alongside PI and study team. Assist with eIRB initiation. Human subjects' recruitment, management, monitoring. Data collection and data management (e.g., interviews, surveys, experiments). Support grant-related research activities. Assist with data cleaning, data analysis, and data interpretation. Assist with data collection in RedCap/Qualtrics. Assist with presentation and manuscript preparation. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Education and Experience Minimum education: high school degree. Location City: Newark State: NJ Physical Demands and Work Environment Standing, sitting, walking, talking and hearing. No special vision requirements. Lifting up to 25 lbs.
