Personal Lines Account Manager

We are currently hiring for a personal lines account manager. This position is very consumer oriented. You will be in constant contact with our customers as their account manager. Yours is the first impression of this agency the public receives, and we always want that to be a pleasant experience. Besides computer proficiency, verbal and written communication skills, and great attention to detail, a caring, outgoing, and friendly personality is a must.

We will provide training both on the job and in classrooms located on the South Shore and sometimes at our agency association headquarters in Milford. All training and licensing will be paid for by Hannon Murphy.

Job description: To be knowledgeable in personal lines coverages, such as homeowners, personal automobile, boats & umbrellas; service personal lines accounts, including policy changes and handling claims. Be familiar with and follow company guidelines and underwriting criteria. Correspond and interact with clients and insurance company underwriters. Research coverage questions and explain to customers. Sell new and additional policies; solicit other types of insurance. Handle the initial claim, report the loss to the company and follow up with our client to make sure the process is moving along. Must be able to multitask and good organizational skills are very important.

This is a full-time position at our Pembroke office located at 166 Center Street in Pembroke. Our office hours are Monday-Friday 9 AM – 5 PM.

• Starting salary is $45,000 paid biweekly.
