Human Resources Director

Compensation: $130,000 - $160,000 Base + Incentive Reports To: Chief of Staff About the Role Our client is seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Human Resources to lead the people function for a growing technology-focused organization with approximately 270 employees across the U.S. and Canada. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership while driving key initiatives in talent development, succession planning, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and change management. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who can influence stakeholders, navigate complex environments, and implement people strategies that support business growth. Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Leadership Lead all areas of HR, including employee relations, talent management, organizational development, compliance, performance management, and workforce planning. Partner closely with executive leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives. Drive HR transformation and continuous improvement initiatives. Talent Development & Succession Planning Develop and implement succession planning strategies and leadership development programs. Create and manage Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and employee growth initiatives. Enhance employee engagement, retention, and internal mobility programs. Change Management Lead organizational change efforts related to growth, transformation, technology adoption, and process improvements. Partner with leaders to build alignment and drive adoption of strategic initiatives. Support organizational effectiveness through communication and change management planning. HR Operations & Technology Oversee HR systems, reporting, compliance, and data integrity. Partner with Finance and IT to improve HR analytics, reporting, and technology solutions. Support HR modernization and process automation initiatives. Leadership & Business Partnership Lead and mentor the HR team. Serve as a trusted coach and advisor to executives and department leaders. Build strong partnerships across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Legal, and Product teams. Qualifications Required 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience. Demonstrated success leading organizational change and transformation initiatives. Strong expertise in: Succession Planning Talent Development Organizational Development Employee Relations Performance Management Leadership Coaching Proven experience partnering with executive leadership teams. Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills. Experience supporting organizations of 200+ employees. HRIS, workforce analytics, and HR technology experience.
