Here are some factors that may enable you to jumpstart your success in this position…ROLE PURPOSEThe General Manager is responsible for ensuring a smooth dining and bar experience for customers. This includes timely seating and food delivery as well as proper attention from cocktail servers. Also responsible for the coordination of staff includes assigning sections in which cocktail servers work, ensuring adequate staffing for the anticipated meal count and adjusting staff levels when dining traffic is less than expected.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITESAssist in managing business segments of restaurant operations - including staffing and serviceAssist in optimizing profit and controlling costs with the use of P&L statements-Train new employees and supervise current employees to consistently provide exemplary service and achieve operational excellenceMaintain a healthy and safe environment for guests and staff alike by adhering to safety and sanitation standardsManages inventory efficiently, accurately, and in a cost-effective manner.Frequently interact with Guests and follow up on any issues or complaints they may have.Ensure great food is served to every Guest.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSMust be able to pass the TSA federal background check to work in the airport4-year college degree preferred3 or more years' experience as a restaurant manager in a casual/fine dining environmentMust be capable of performing all functions and meeting qualification standards for all hourly positions.Prior knowledge and experience in purchasing and productionMust have extensive knowledge of fine wine and craft specialty drinks
