Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough client assessments via telehealth methods to gather comprehensive psychosocial histories and evaluate mental health status.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on the initial assessments, taking into account each client’s unique needs, preferences, and treatment goals.

• Facilitate a variety of therapy sessions, including individual, couples, and family therapy, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Collaborate extensively with psychiatric professionals, medical staff, and other social workers to ensure clients receive holistic care that addresses both physical and mental health needs.

• Maintain meticulous records of client progress, updating treatment plans as necessary and ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client population consists of individuals undergoing detoxification from substance use, which may include individuals with co-occurring mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or personality disorders. As a Clinical Social Worker, your role will be to provide empathy, understanding, and effective treatment strategies tailored to the complex challenges faced by these clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience, preferably within a substance use or detoxification setting.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health diagnoses and therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse client populations.

• Capacity to work autonomously while also being an integral part of a collaborative care team.

Preferred Experience\n
