Role Description This full-time, Marketing Representative role focuses on promoting Safeway Insurance products and services to prospective and existing agents in Mississippi. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with agents, conducting outreach campaigns, and supporting sales initiatives to increase brand awareness and policy growth. Qualified candidate must live in Mississippi. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with independent insurance agents and brokers. Promote the company's products, programs, and value proposition to current and prospective agency partners. Identify new business opportunities and support agency growth initiatives. Conduct agency visits, training sessions, and presentations. Analyze production trends and market conditions to develop effective territory plans. Collaborate with underwriting and claims teams to ensure excellent service and responsiveness. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions. Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence to management. Achieve territory production, retention, and profitability goals. Extensive travel throughout the state to include some overnight travel. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of insurance marketing, sales, underwriting, or agency management experience preferred. Knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory.
