Information Technology Specialist (MDM/Intune/Excel/Power BI))

Job Description

Optomi, in partnership with an industry leading medical center, are seeking a proactive Mobility Technology Analyst to support a large healthcare organization's enterprise mobility environment. This role will support more than 11,000 mobile devices and assist with device management, usage audits, reporting, new technology initiatives, and small project coordination.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working across multiple teams, and able to take ownership of assignments from initial investigation through resolution. Healthcare experience is a plus but is not required.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Support enterprise mobility devices, including cell phones, tablets, hotspots, Cradlepoints, paging devices, and push-to-talk technology.
\n
• Perform device and service usage audits and identify opportunities to cancel, replace, trade in, or optimize unused services.
\n
• Manage approximately a 50/50 mix of planned project work and unplanned operational requests .
\n
• Coordinate small projects and initiatives that may not have a dedicated Project Manager.
\n
• Work across departments and technical teams to resolve issues and ensure tasks are fully completed.
\n
• Maintain and analyze device information and reporting using Excel, including pivot tables.
\n
• Assist with device enrollment and management through Microsoft Intune.
\n
• Support reporting and analysis utilizing Tableau and BI tools.
\n
• Research unfamiliar technologies and independently identify appropriate next steps.
\n
• Support mobility-related initiatives and go-live activities as needed.

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Strong Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables.
\n
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
\n
• Ability to independently investigate issues and manage competing priorities.
\n
• Comfortable coordinating work across multiple departments and technical teams.
\n
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Intune preferred.
\n
• Experience with mobile device management or enterprise mobility technology is highly preferred.
\n
• Healthcare IT experience is a plus, but not required.
\n
• Ability to work on-site five days per week .
\n

Team & Environment:

\n

This position reports directly to the Mobility Manager and works within a small, collaborative team alongside mobility subject-matter experts and other technology partners. The environment combines healthcare and technology, supporting critical operations across a large healthcare organization.

Interview Process:
