Accountant & FP&A (Real Estate Private Equity)

Job Description
Coda Search is partnering with a rapidly expanding real estate private equity firm with offices located in Jersey City. The team is seeking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst to support fund-level analysis, debt and loan covenant reporting, and performance analytics across a diversified real estate portfolio. This role partners with asset management and finance, with significant exposure to senior leadership.
\n \nKey Responsibilities

- Assist with preparing the monthly financial reporting package \n
- Oversee and manage GL activity and perform variance analyiss \n
- Perform fund-level financial analysis across multiple real estate funds, including cash flow modeling, and variance \n
- Prepare and maintain loan covenant reporting, including compliance tracking, lender analysis, borrowing base calculations, \n
- Develop and analyze portfolio and asset-level KPIs \n
- Support quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting processes at the fund and asset level \n
- Partner with Asset Management and Accounting to analyze operating performance and identify trends, risks, and value-creation opportunities \n
- Assist with investor and management reporting, including dashboards, ad-hoc analyses, and presentation materials \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field \n
- 3+ years of experience in real estate private equity, real estate, asset management, or investment management \n
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ARGUS, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus \n
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills \n
