Independent Contractor Role
Initio Sphere — Private Capital Ecosystem

Compensation:
$200–$500/hour or transaction-based earnings, depending on scope, deal size, and advisory engagement

Initio Sphere is a private capital ecosystem where capital meets talent. We connect fund managers, investors, operators, and analysts through real deal flow, institutional frameworks, and curated relationships .

Transaction Strategy Mentors provide high-level transaction guidance, deal structuring expertise, and strategic oversight to sponsors, funds, and investors while mentoring analysts and scouts, earning opportunities, and building credibility across the ecosystem.

Initio Sphere is onboarding Transaction Strategy Mentors to deliver strategic and operational guidance across the full lifecycle of deals and transactions .

This is an independent contractor role , not traditional employment. Mentors operate autonomously through a verification and approval process. Once approved, Mentors:

• Advise on deal structuring, negotiation strategy, and transaction execution

• Support fund managers with capital strategy, fundraising positioning, and LP engagement

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts, building internal capacity and credibility

• Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure

• Build a verified Advisor Track Record within Initio Sphere

This role is ideal for experienced operators, ex-investment bankers, fund managers, or senior consultants with a proven record of leading complex transactions and investment initiatives .

Approved Transaction Strategy Mentors may:

• Advise sponsors on deal structuring, diligence oversight, and negotiation strategy

• Support fund managers with capital strategy, LP engagement, and fundraising positioning

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts on transaction modeling, diligence workflows, and execution best practices

• Provide portfolio advisory services, operational insights, and value creation guidance

• Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors

Mentors focus on high-level transaction strategy and relationship-driven deal activation . Day-to-day modeling is handled by analysts unless explicitly approved.

• Deal structuring, investment committee support, and transaction strategy

• Fund formation, capital raising, and LP communications

• Operational or portfolio company advisory

• Mentorship and technical training for analysts and scouts

• Investor relations and network strategy

Approval is granted based on experience, track record, and demonstrated ability to advise on real transactions .

• Independent contractor engagement

• Hourly rates: $200–$500 , based on experience, track record, and engagement scope

• Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory on closed deals

• Payments issued after successful completion of advisory milestones or deal closure

• No cap on earning potential for consistent high-value contributions

1. Submit a Transaction Strategy Mentor application with background, track record, and deal history

2. Complete verification and category approval

3. Get activated within the Initio Sphere platform

4. Begin working with funds, sponsors, and analysts on approved engagements

This ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to live transaction opportunities .

Transaction Strategy Mentors do not :

• Provide investment advice to the public

• Solicit securities

• Market investments outside approved channels

• Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All advisory work focuses on strategic guidance, mentorship, and deal-level support , compliant with applicable securities laws.

• Ex-IB, PE, VC, or senior fund executives with a proven transaction record

• Experienced operators or founders with strong deal networks

• Senior advisors capable of mentoring and elevating analysts and scouts

• Professionals seeking high-touch advisory roles with transaction exposure

• Direct access to fund managers, investors, and live deal flow
